Cylinder Arm Walking Foot Sewing Machines Cylinder arm sewing machines have the advantage of being more versatile. With a cylinder arm machine you can put the cylinder arm inside of a bag, whereas you cannot do that with a flatbed machine.  A cylinder arm machine can also do what a flatbed machine can do. Some cylinder arm machines, such as the THOR GC1341, have a flatbed attachable table top that will make it easier to sew things like wallets.  Two of our most popular cylinder arm machines are the THOR GC1341 and the THOR GC1341SC-BH.
